"What a great find, 26 Harbour Street is just around the bay from the Plockton Hotel, so a good bar and restaurant was only 2 minutes walk away! The house was lovely, well furnished, a lovely Aga kept the house warm. All the bedrooms were well appointed and all 3 bathrooms were of a similar standard. We had our 2 dogs with us and the boot room was ideal for keeping them contained after walks. I was a little reluctant to write this review because I would rather keep this little gem to myself -...

"The property was quaint and as expected from other reviews and the listing details. It felt rather damp but there were electric fan heaters in each room which quickly warmed the place up. The Wi-Fi kept going off and we were unable to make the tv work but that wasn’t an issue as we were only there for two nights."

"We had a lovely stay in Kyle at this Vrbo. Good place to be to get to the Isle of Skye. Host was very pleasant. We walked all over town and to the bridge. We only stayed 2 nights. Next time I’d like to stay at least 3."

"Loved the style of the property, plenty of space, nice enclosed garden. Spectacular views across to Skye. Just needing a bit of tlc, chipped cups and plates, gutter hanging off the and one dripping at the back door. Need new seating in the living room, its not comfortable and outdated. But saying all that it is a great place to relax and escape city life."

"Great location for us and all needed amenities. The view is spectacular and easily a place we would return to. Unfortunately, the shower drain was clogged on arrival so we had to unclog a large amount and also had to buy toilet paper as no spare was obviously seen. "This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Ida met us at our car and showed us to our room while loading more fire wood in the pot belly stove in room. It was a lovely site as we walked in! So warm and cosy. The apartment was spacious with a full kitchen. We cooked dinner and Ida had even left us a wee...

"The owner met us there and had the fire going. He was very nice and gave us a lot of pointers on where to go and what to see, not your typical tourist attractions. We were there for a few nights for our honeymoon and he had a little surprise waiting for us when we got there. "The Guest House was very convenient for a recent visit to the west coast of Scotland. Self-check in was made east by the entry code being emailed on the morning of my stay. The room was clean and tidy and fridge in room was handy. Complimentary breakfast items were convenient if basic. Only downside was the heater was on prior to my arrival, and the window didnt open, meaning it was uncomfotably hot during the stay. "

Lovely Stay. Easy checking and comfortable Room.

"Booked the room with the queen size bed and a pill out couch for the kiddo. Loved the vintage feel of the room except that the shower had a slow drain. We contacted the front desk and this young lady came over right away and fixed it. Great water pressure. We also had dinner at the restaurant and had a lovely view of Bradford Bay in front of the hotel. We were taken care of by the same young lady that checked us in and help us with the drain situation. We were a bit worried she was the only staff at the hotel. She was lovely and had a great positive attitude. "
