「Great couple of nights in a private room. Staff were really helpful. Facilities excellent, good location for the railway station. Breakfast available and drinks etc are sold at reception. Would happily stay again.」

「A very enjoyable stay with pleasant, safe n quiet surroundings.Enjoyed the peace n tranquility it offered.The staff were so nice, friendly n so helpful which was fantastic.It was extremely clean n the parking was so handy n accessible.Thoroughly enjoyed my stay n will be back next year, without a doubt.」

「I went at the end of season but car park with the hostel was available and easy access. Room was en-suite which I wasn't expecting for a hostel but made the stay so much easier and hospitable. a large group staying there at same time but no noise from them, made an enjoyable stay」

「We had a very relaxing few days here. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the check in process was completed quickly. We stayed in a two bedroom cottage, the accommodation was very spacious but still had a nice cozy feel to it. The on site restaurant served excellent food with a lovely atmosphere, just remember to book early as it was fully booked each night we were there. We will definitely be back.」

「This is our second visit and we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful rural location. Perfect for outdoor loving families. The surroundings are stunning. We watched deer climbing the fellside each morning and horses in the field below. There views in all directions are spectacular. There is plenty of walking from the doorstep which is great for children and dogs. We received a lovely warm welcome from the owners who were nearby if needed.」
