「The property is new and the rooms still have that new room smell - lovely! The area around the hotel is being developed. This hotel has limited office hours and appears to have mostly long-term guests. The family that runs the hotel are very kind. Some suggestions: add some kind of towel bar and hooks in the bathroom and the wash cloths could be a better quality - one they get wet, they almost disintegrate.」

「Loved living history for 2 nights in the Shoe House! We were a group of 5 friends for a high school reunion. The property is well maintained and enjoyed all the historical mid century touches. The current owners did a great job honoring the original decor and intent of the property. In the basement, there was a mini museum and gift shop about the history of the house. We got a kick out of a few tourists stopping to take pictures. The place has it's own official historical landmark sign out...
