「Stunning Chateau with glorious views overlooking the lake. Fabulous original features with ample space inside and outside on the terrace. Large comfortable rooms for our party of 15. Lovely enclosed pool and recreation areas in huge wooded grounds and massive lake for boating, fishing and bird watching. Very welcoming owners on arrival to show us around. Cannot wait for a chance to re-visit.」

「We filled the chateau with 26 people, aged from 2 to 80, and it never felt overcrowded. Lots of lovely old furniture, but new good quality bedlinen and towels. Very clean. We mostly cooked for ourselves, and the kitchen was well-equipped for such numbers. Outside, there's a new tennis court by the pool, both are great. (The free-standing pool in the main photo has been replaced by a much better one, and the badminton/volleyball court is no longer there). The outside dining furniture has also...

「Hired the chateau with 30 friends who have not seen each other in a long time. This was one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed at; I honestly never thought I'd stay somewhere as grand. The communication was great and the photos don't do it justice. All the rooms are ensuite and there's a lot of social space for everyone. The hardest bit was getting everyone together in one place!
