Welcome to this charming waterfront cottage located on the Illinois River in the heart of Starved Rock Country. Nestled in the marina resort community of Heritage Harbor, this home offers a tranquil and picturesque setting for your enjoyment.  The interior features a cozy gas fireplace with a shiplap surround, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. You'll find a total of four porches, including a delightful screened-in porch where you can relax and take in the scenic views. Whether you're seeking a serene retreat or an opportunity to explore the scenic surroundings, this property is an ideal choice.

Layout:

This beautiful home has two levels. The first level features an open concept floor plan with a kitchen, living room, dining area and half bath. The second level consists of two bedrooms with two full bathrooms. The primary bedroom has a Queen bed and walk in shower, and the additional bedroom hosts a full over queen bunk bed and has a tub/shower combo.

House Rules:
During your stay, we ask that you remember to be respectful of your neighbors. Quiet hours are from 10pm- 7am.  Events, parties or gatherings in or around the home are forbidden. Tents are not allowed on property. For real, take the party to the many downtown bars, where live music is always playing.

We love pets, however we have some limitations. Serendipity has a two pet maximum with a 75lb maximum weight per dog. There is a $100 non-refundable pet deposit that is required when you are bringing your fur friend along. Please make sure that your pet(s) are leashed while you are out and about Heritage Harbor. Also, your pet must be caged if you decide to leave it unattended. Should you choose to ignore this, there will be a $300 fine assessed for breaking these rules.

We kindly remind our guests of our "no smoking" and "no pets" policy to maintain the highest quality and cleanliness of our properties. This policy applies to all animals. Non-compliance with either policy will result in a $300 fine.

Also, do not forget to enjoy all the nearby amenities and activities including swimming, fire pits, kayaking, kite flying, trail hiking/walking, bike riding trails, craft beer and wine tasting, zip lining, sky diving, glass blowing, and much more, not to mention the fun you will have just strolling around the Harbor.
