When is a resort not a resort? In this case, when it doesn't provide any facilities outside the room. There's a rooftop bar in summer but nothing at other times. Staff were pleasant but breakfast was limited and when we asked for a second cup of coffee we had to pay for it. The room is large but was taken up by 4 double futons and a massive hanging screen for projecting TV/video. We felt it was intended for a large group who wanted to watch DVDs all day. The cost would have been fine split 8 ways if all beds were full but for us as a couple it was pretty extortionate. Also, no fault of the hotel, but out of season the town is dead in the evenings and only half alive during the day. We booked and paid for 4 nights but left after 2 on the grounds that it's only money and life is too short....
