"The hotel was great. Staff were very polite and helpful. The room was nice and clean. There are a few food choices onsight and the main strip is a block away to explore and shop. The beach is also only a short 5 min. Walk. The only disappointment is the casino. Save your money and enjoy everything else. "

"We loved Forteleza Suites! So easy to walk right out the front door to shops and restaurants and all the sites of San Juan. They have a community area with coffee and cocoa and even a basket of towels and sunscreen should you need anything for the beach. The decor and building is authentic and makes you feel a part of the city. The full kitchen was nice and the beds super comfortable. The little deck was very neat and surprisingly the room was quiet even with the street out our window! Friendly and helpful staff, and everything was very safe and clean. Hopefully we’ll get the chance to go back to San Juan and if we do we will definitely stay here again!"

"Loved this hotel - cleaning staff seemed a bit lacking. Our room was out of all the basics when we checked in and it took a while to get that remedied. Otherwise, great location, room was very comfortable. We arrived late and had an excellent dinner at the restaurant downstairs We hope to be back!"
