Three bedroom, two bath, fully furnished country hideaway overlooking a small lake.

Free WiFi, free Hulu, Frndly TV, Prime Video, & other streaming services.

Free Firewood For The Fire Ring!
Free Propane!

Three burner gas grill with utensils. No charge for propane.

Fishing available (bring your own tackle, no license required) 10 ft rowboat with oars, two pedal boats and two kayaks available.

FIRE RING WITH FREE FIREWOOD and roasting sticks available.

Five foot round, metal patio table with four chairs located near fire ring area.

There is a Blink video doorbell is installed on the front door and two outside Wi-Fi cameras, one on the north end of the house, and one on the south end of the house. Both cameras are in plain view. There are no other cameras or recording devices on the property.

House is equipped with "Smart" thermostat, smart wall plugs and smart front porch light. The thermostat is set for optimum efficiency and guest comfort.

House is wired for portable generator which is on-site and can be operational within an hour, (probably sooner)

Throw and Fish
It was an oasis in the hills. We arrived and was very happy with what we saw and we had only pulled in the driveway. It only got better. We went to the LAKE HOUSE looking To get away from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, Relax and do some fishing and disc golfing. It was everything we could have wanted and more. It was a very hot few days, and the air conditioning worked great, very comfortable inside. The place has wifi, but I don't know why you would need to use it. It has 4 disk Golf baskets on the premises, and I had one of my own so we had our own personal disk. Golf course and pond for fishing. It couldn't Have been better. It was EXACTLY what we were looking for. We had everything we could have wanted, and then some. From the 4 disk Golf baskets to the farm fresh Eggs in the fridge. Roger and Mary were great hosts. They had everything you could need, and then some. Very clean, Grass and landscape was well kept. All the info you could need about your place and the surrounding area inside the cabin posted somewhere. And they also let you have your own vacation. They are there for anything. You need, but are not a nuisance or try to invade on your vacation. They are the PERFECT HOSTS. I can't stress enough how perfect it was. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be going back. Thank you Roger and Mary for making it 1 of the best most convenient and easy vacation experiences I've ever had. 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 rating because 5 isnt enough. above and beyond!

Peaceful Getaway
This place was one of the best places we ever stayed at. So quiet and the wildlife was amazing. Birds of all kinds, deer, turkey, bullfrogs and turtles also. The lake was fun and the hiking trails were just enough for a bit of exercise. We stayed for 3 nights and never left the property. Hated to leave. Roger and Mary joined us around the campfire as my friend played acoustic guitar. Great owners!! Only suggestion we had was maybe some hooks on the wall in the main bedroom to hang some clothes.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The check-in process was seamless and the hosts were very responsive to all messages and questions. The home was comfortable and set up to make you feel at home. The amenities were also very nice, complete with bottled water, a snack basket, and farm fresh eggs. Thank you for a very nice weekend!

Thanksgiving 2023 - Almost Heaven!
From the time we made the reservation to arrival, the stay, and even the departure - it was WONDERFUL. We are already checking our calendars to return again in the summer as well as next Thanksgiving. The hosts were top notch and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was very nice and we had plenty of room for everyone to enjoy their time! Thank you Roger and Mary - We can't wait to come back!

Lake house
Was absolutely amazing. First impression was WOW! Such a beautiful property along with wonderful owners. All kinds of extras were provided. What a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy Gods country. We so enjoyed the visit from the turkeys, so friendly and even pet one of them and he went to sleep. We will be returning in May and this will be our go to home away from home. Thank you Roger and Mary you are the best!

Second Year as Perfect as the First!
Our first year, we just went as a couple and knew that this was the only vacation spot for us from now on! This year, we brought friends and family. Next year, we plan on 2 trips and more family members joining us! This is the perfect place to unwind, relax, and get away from it all!

Relaxing stay
Very private property with relaxing view. Property owners were very gracious, and the property has almost everything one would need to enjoy stay. Tripped over small ramp at the front door several times, if only it could be removed when not in use. Couldn't find a fishing pole, probably should have brought my own. Property owners provided snacks. Mattress was a bit thin for me, and wasn't a fan of cameras inside living space, although it was disclosed prior to booking. All in all I would stay here again, hopefully without the inside cameras. The only reason for a 4 star rating is the inside cameras and bed comfort.

We had 4 seniors, loved the house ( maybe consider new mattresses for the 3 bedrooms) but was okay. Hosts provided a lot of things that I never had at any other rental before, was extremely nice. Location is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend this rental !!!

Delightful
We have never stayed at a VRBO that exhibited more pride of ownership and thoughtfulness by the owners. The property was breathtakingly beautiful and immaculately maintained. My husband and children enjoy kayaks and paddle boats on the lake. There were so many fun things to do (swim, fish, disc golf, cornhole etc.) but my personal favorite was walking the trails on the property. Did I mention they left us Farm fresh eggs, snacks, and coffee? We are already planning a return visit because we didn’t give ourselves nearly enough time to enjoy the property. Thank you to Roger and Mary for being such gracious hosts.

We loved our stay at the lakehouse!!
This property is beautiful and so peaceful. The 3BR 2 BA home was very clean and offered many unexpected, and much appreciated, extras. The pond water was very clean and clear. Fishing was so fun! Rowboat, large float, paddle boats, and kayaks are available for guest use. The hosts are nice and always respond quickly. They even gave us homemade zucchini bread and fresh watermelon from their garden! The small touches and items provided for guest use show just how much these hosts care about their guests. We can't wait to vacation here again!

Beautiful setting, so peaceful! They stock everything you might need and then some. I would say just bring your toothbrush but they even have one available if you happen to forget yours. The owners are great people and live just around the corner in case you would need something.

Amazing property
Absolutely perfect- host and hostess are terrific and the property has so many extras! The lake is the cleanest I have ever seen in SE Ohio- refreshing and wonderful! Lots of boats/floats for the kids swimming or fishing. I cannot recommend enough! We will be back!

Three Days Of Relaxation And Fun
This was a beautiful, relaxed retreat. You have your own lake for swimming, kayaking and paddle boating. There are trails for hiking, a spacious comfortable house with all the amenities, and thoughtful little touches everywhere. The hosts are lovely, responsive and available if you need them.

Peaceful family time
We come to the area for a Family Reunion and the Lakehouse was a perfect place for us siblings, to stay together and enjoy our time. The front porch swing, the beauty of the lake, sunrise, animals, were just amazing! We enjoyed walking the trails and eating a few blackberries. So much is provided, there wasn’t anything extra we needed. Thank you for all your hard work you have put into your property to share it with others! Marie Ray

Relaxing retreat!
This lovely lake home lives up to the listing. The impeccable landscaped grounds are so inviting. The lake in the evening with the solar lights makes you want to sit on the porch all night. Mary and Roger had the home decorated for the 4th, including festive paper products in the kitchen. The home is well stocked and very clean. We will recommend this home to friends. One note. If planning to arrive on a motorcycle the driveway is steep and a bit intimidating but manageable. Thank you Roger and Mary

A piece of Heaven on Earth
This place exceeded our expectations. The special touches like bottled water, fresh eggs, snacks, kitchen cookware, kerig maker w/ kcups, paddle boats & kayaks etc! Love It
This is a steal for the money , the value and the whole experience was wonderful .stayed at so many rentals this is the one . Will stay here all the time when staying in Ohio, you do not have to leave the property for fun . They have everything you need , lake , kayaks paddle boats , fishing , frisbee golf also a zip line that drops you right in the water . I have nothing but good things to say for this place. Thank you Roger and Mary for sharing your beautiful place . I cannot express how well stocked the place was and how friendly the host where , you do not see them unless you wave here or there if you want left for your own enjoyment you got it and the host home is over the hill you have your own privacy . Love Love Live this place.

Lots to do
Everything you would ever need is available from thoughtfully placed night lights to personal care. It's very clean and many things to do inside and out for slightly older children through adult whether it's swimming, fishing, enjoying porch and bird watching or board games. They even provide fresh eggs.
