Family fun on the coast
Cute house, fit our young family of 4 perfectly for beach weekend. Beautiful yard for the kids to hike, watch deer and see the sunset. Glad we brought coffee grounds, microwave pizzas and soup. Didn’t miss the oven in the kitchen or attempt the bbq. Wish the washer/dryer could be used… Tried calling the property manager and they said no. Can’t wait to return, next time I’m bringing wood for the fire pit!

Neglected, unclean, and outdated made for an uncomfortable stay
The entire property indoors and outdoors was unkept. There was dust and cobwebs all over the furniture including the headboards, ceiling fan, and sofa chairs. We were unable to relax upon arrival because we had to do our own cleaning before we could shower and sleep in the beds. We were not able to use the ceiling fan due to all the dust it would have blown over the bed so it became stuffy and uncomfortable to sleep at night. I felt very uneasy having my infant in the property. The seating outdoors were worn down and broken rendering them unsafe to sit on. We did not feel comfortable staying in the property.

Lovely place with spectacular ocean view
We loved the view and the proximity to hiking trails and beaches. Sunroom was so warm and cozy after breezy walks. Would have liked a manual for the Ninja Air Fryer/Oven as we hadn't used one before.

Toilet blocked easily and was told it was chronic
When told toilet was irrevocably blocked Vacasa said someone would come. They never did. We spent the day before departure having to pee outside in cold winters rain. I am disabled so this was ridiculous. I liked the property but this issue must be addressed. I’m so angry.

The home was immaculate but stuffy walking in. Opening windows worked well.
This place is amazing. I ended up going there solo. I felt safe there! Owners were near by. The ocean views and sea breeze were awesome. Loved the peacefulness. The rental was clean, simple and perfect. I definately would go there again!!

Room with a view!
This property is a gem! We especially enjoyed spending family time and reading in the sun room. There are some nice walks nearby, and Bodega Bay, many beaches, restaurants and stores are all within 10 minutes of the house. Be aware that there is no cell service, and the WiFi was spotty at best. Nice place to unplug, but bring plenty of things to do if you are traveling with small children and plan on spending a good amount of time in the house.

This property was perfect for us as we revisited the Russian River valley and N. CA coast. There were gale-force winds when we were there and the sunroom provided a great way to experience the views without getting blown away!

Not Perfect - but we would stay there again!
We loved the location of the property & the views can not be beat! My kids loved being able to run around in the yard & listen to the ocean. The beaches nearby were perfect & we had a lot of fun at them. The property fit our family of five just fine - & we will hopefully go back someday! There are a few things that we think would improve someone's stay there though - nothing huge, just some little things. The gate information we received was incorrect & we arrived late at night & so knowing how the gate actually worked beforehand would have been nice. The photos should be updated - there was no woodpile, as was pictured & the grill was completely different than the one shown online. Also - we were told to clean the grill if we used it, but there was no brush to clean it with! We would have also liked to have a broom available in the house - so we could clean up after ourselves. And also - there was no info on what to do with garbage. There were garbage cans outside - but they were chained shut. Another nice thing would have been to have more blankets available. It was chilly the nights we were there - & I was glad my kids had brought their own blankets because there was minimal blankets at the house. Also - having a binder in the house is helpful usually. This binder is not. It is in dire need of updating. There were menus in there for nearby restaurants from 2012!! Maybe just take the menus out!! And the pellet stove instructions say that it is working, but there was a note on the stove saying it wasn't. Maybe fix the stove or the binder - or better yet, both! I know these are all inconsequential - but just little things that could be easily fixed to make this an even better experience. Also, Vacasa was not great to work with. I emailed several times with questions & never received an answer to any of my emails. Terrible customer service. That all being said - the little hiccups were worth it & we hope to stay there again someday!

Incredible View and Beauty
The highlight of the house is the glassed in porch plus it is in a perfect location! We loved our stay, the price was good and a bit of updating could make a huge difference. The Pull out/futon beds were not comfortable, the mattresses hard and thin and the support bar felt. To access the futons you need to rearrange because of small space. The bed cover and pillows could be updated and higher quality. The dishware dated and sparce. So disappointed that the record player did not work. Just a few improvements and it would br 5 stars!

Wonderful stay!
Perfect weekend getaway for our family of 4. The pictures don’t do the view justice. It was absolutely stunning. Also you can walk across the highway to the beach. We loved staying here!! Will definitely be back!

Neat place - family of 5 had fun!
We stayed for 4 nights, parents in the bedroom, kids slept on the pull out sofa's and were comfy. The little pellet stove kept us cozy, the fire pit outside helped us roast marshmallows. The owner went out of her way and added more kids toys and puzzles once she saw the ages of our kids. The trail can be reached easily on foot from the house and several beaches are only a short ways away. Meals in the "glass room" were a special treat. Bring food as there is little in the way of supermarkets very nearby. We ran out of milk and Jenner's minimarket had only chocolate milk left; the kids did not mind ;-)

Overpriced
The house was comfortable and the view was nice, but the kitchen appliances were either old or non-existant, no cell phone service and wi-fi was shaky, Bodega Bay was 8 miles away, but at least a 20 minute drive, slower at night. It would have been fine at half the price but not for what we paid

Good news/bad news
The good news is that the sun porch is lovely to sit and look out over the ocean, the patio is great for sitting, playing cornhole or using the grill, and it is a very short walk to get to the trail that goes along the bluffs from Goat Rock to Wrights Beach. The bad news is, first, that the bathroom is attached to the one bedroom in the house (not a separate room) so that if there are more than 2 people in the house, they will be walking through the one bedroom to get to the bathroom. Secondly, the lack of stove and oven, while not insurmountable (given a convection oven/microwave, and portable electric burners) is something you need to plan for if you plan to cook your own meals. We certainly enjoyed our long weekend in the house; we just had to adapt to the "quirks" first.

Surprise
Was a bit taken back at the lack of a cook stove and oven. It was in the description but I somehow missed it Once we got over that it was a great place to stay. Beautiful ocean and sunset view. Comfortable bed. Lots of appliances to work around the lack of stove. The sun room was so wonderful to enjoy the view and be shielded from the wind. The patio and outside space was so inviting. The set up with the open living room kitchen worked really well for our family. Thank you for letting us stay.
