"We had a small glitch on check in just getting keys but the host was quick once we got a hold of her.This location is perfect lots of shops Restraunt’s and the beach is a short walk away. We very much enjoyed our stay and Norma was quick to reply to any of our needs .Would definitely stay here again. Even the dreaded stair case that was mentioned was not that bad."

"Our stay at La Bocana was amazing, we stayed for about 10 days and we felt right at home. The space had all the basic elements for a nice, comfortable stay with my family and was in a quiet location near the ocean (though not for swimming), but not far from town. The team in charge was super attentive and communicative, making sure we had everything we needed in advance and during our stay. Absolutely recommended for any future travelers considering staying here. "

Some property maintenance issues that need attention, such as shower leaking water onto bathroom floor, only 2/4 elements on stove working. Kitchen poorly stocked…no large coffee mugs, no vegetable peeler or can opener, no kettle for boiling water to make tea. Check in process was slow. Check out was easy and quick. "My friend and I stayed for a week and loved the property. It was clean, well stocked and most importantly, the A/C worked well as it was very hot during our stay. The pool area was lovely, the residents were super friendly and gave us lots of great advice on restaurants, things to do & places to see. Was nice to have a grocery store so nearby and lots of restaurants. The town Square was about a 15 to 20 minute walk. Was my first time here and can’t wait to return!"

"The condo is in a great location! Walking distance to amenities or short walk to a taxi. The property is beautiful! Plants and flowers create a lot of privacy. Everyone in the complex was friendly and welcoming. We were surprised at all the extras we found in the condo (beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, lots of towels, beach bags, condiments galore. The large deck was perfect for watching the sunrise or to sit and enjoy the evening. We definitely recommend it!"

"Overall a great space to spend your vacation. Was perfect for our group of 5. Close to the beach but enough privacy when you wanted to enjoy some quiet time listening to the waves. I would rent a car next time for some freedom, very easy to drive from the airport and around town. My only recommendation is the unit could do with some more kitchen amenities such as mixing bowls and cooking sheets, and additional dish towels."

"Small home with very outdated bathrooms and kitchen. Would not recommend for families. Kitchen is not suited for cooking. One bathroom was small that needed to sit sideways on toilet. Faucet with barely flowing water. The property manager was very kind but the home needs full reno."

"The view was magnificent. The condo was wonderful. However to get to it there was a long hill and we had to climb 3 flights of stairs WITH NO RAILING. Every time we wanted to go out...to swim in the pool, to shop for food etc we had to climb up and down the stairs. This was just to the apartment. The pool was another set of stairs, and the ocean was another 60 stairs to climb down and up to. "

I would have given them a 5, but for the following issues. 1- we had to buy kitchen knives, cutting board, Tupperware, tongs, 2 frying pans (all left behind) 2 - dishwasher didn't work, reported but no remedy provided. 3 - light bulbs burnt out, requested they change them - no assistance. 4 - They continually offered "what can we do to make your stay better", I hade 2 minor requests and they were denied.
