The laminated information sheet in the bedroom said that breakfast was 5-9. The first two mornings that was perfectly fine because we had to leave the hotel around 7:30 so we didn’t need to plan using what ended up being incorrect information.
The breakfast selection was super basic, but technically it was food available. First morning there weren’t even any plates out so we just had toast that we held in our hands to put jam on and eat. For the last morning, we planned to grab some food before we left at 5:15, which would be perfect because the info paper in the room said it was from 5-9. When we got down there, the whole place was closed up. I asked the lady what’s the plan for breakfast and she said it was 6-9. I said, “Hmm, the laminated informational paper in the room says 5-9.” She just shrugged her shoulders and said, “We don’t even have much of anything for breakfast anyway because we’re waiting on a delivery. We don’t have milk, juice, pastries, or most of the things we can usually offer. So you’re not missing much.” Yeah, that was obvious…
