This house was everything that we needed it to be for our "covidcation" - we wanted a place where we could buy groceries, cook all of our meals, and sit and look at the water - and this is the place for that. The view can't be beat. There's a table, chairs, and fire pit outside, and the dining room table is positioned next to a window that looks out over the lake as well. We had everything we needed, and the property manager was extremely nice and easy to communicate with. We had trouble getting the dishwasher started one day, and she texted back in less than two minutes with instructions. There were three of us staying there (myself, and my parents) and there was plenty of room for the three of us, but it would be a tight fit for more than that. The one bedroom has just a twin bed, so any additional guests would have to sleep in the common area.
My only constructive feedback for the property would be that it could have been cleaner. There was hair and lint and dust in most rooms and corners, a stain on the rug in the living room, and spaces like behind the faucets in the kitchen and bathroom had not been wiped. It wasn't so bad that we considered not staying! Ultimately, the place was as clean as any of us would keep our own homes on a regular basis. I think I just generally expect more from vacation rentals. Also, all of the closets and drawers (except for two drawers in the big bedroom) were completely filled, so there was no place to hang clothes or easily store your own stuff while you were there. Overall though, we had a great time! And if you just want to go sit by the water for a few days and not worry about anything else, I wouldn't let the cleanliness or the storage stop you.
