「We had so much fun here, and it was a wonderful place to come and relax after a day of activities. Very unique cabin, with porch right on the pond. Friendly ducks, dogs, and it was great hearing all of the different bird calls. Very close to restaurants and things, but felt remite and private. Comfortable bed. Only complaint was the small bathroom without much room to put things.」

It was beautiful and tranquil with an abundance of exotic birds and had a gorgeous view of arenal volcano! Kaylor was THE BEST host and gave excellent restaurant recommendations and was immediately responsive to any communications. Absolutely would stay again, I already miss the place!」

「The cabin was in a pretty location on the side of a small lake — but the location doesn't match that on VRBO which states it's in La Fortuna town. It's actually several miles out of town, which was a problem for us since we didn't have a rental car and there's no public transport serving the area. The owner offered us a lift into La Fortuna on our first day, but beyond that we had to keep booking Ubers which also were quite unreliable. The cabin was nice but could do with a bit of upkeep —...

The main floor is very accessible but be the stairs to get to the basement kitchen are narrow and steep.
