「We were in town for a funeral and rented this cozy space. There were 4 grown adults. This was the perfect spot. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed, the shower had enough hot water for 4 showers every morning. Would 1000% recommend. If I had to make one suggestion it would be for a railing by the front stairs. The first stair was a big one and my elderly parents struggled with it. We just made sure we were always with them, so not a complaint. The house...

「Absolutely loved this historic cottage. Oozing with charm! Kathryn has created such an inviting get-away. We were in town for a family Christmas and needed a few extra beds and a quiet space for a break from the exuberance of 10 grandkids. Perfect peacefulness to be found at this cottage. Just a heads-up to any wanting to stay here; there are several small steps throughout the cottage in addition to the spiral staircase, all very well marked and lit, but still a word of caution for some. ...

「This property is very nice. All the comforts of home. Very clean and love all the memorabilia it has. Highly recommend . 」

「This house was perfect for my daughter and I. It had everything we needed, was very clean and decorated nicely. The bathroom was very spacious and the bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable. The only negative was the comfort level of the futon in the second bedroom. This host was also very responsive and accommodating. 」

「Great location, not far from Galena. Peaceful, comfy cottage. Just two concerns: battery was reading critical low when we tried to put in our access code to front door. Finally opened, but we had to use back door for our 2 day stay, and no lock on back door to lock up when we went in town . The shower had great water pressure, but ran out of hot water when 3rd person(hubby) tried to take his shower, and my son and I did not take long showers! Also son had to tighten bolt in chair in living room...

「Fabulous cabin on the river! Awesome nature views and sunsets were amazing. Whole front of house including the master bedroom is all windows for breathtaking views. Relaxing, peaceful, hot dogs and s'mores by the campfire along the lake....can't beat it!」

「The house was absolutely perfect. We stayed for a long weekend over the 4th of July holiday with three other families. We were close enough to amenities if/when we needed them, but had absolutely no reasons to leave the property - so much to do for everyone. The owner was wonderful to engage with, he was even able to supply wheelchair ramps to make the home more assessable for someone in our group who has a disability. We are already talking about booking again next year!」

「We stayed at this property because we wanted to be outside if downtown Galena but also be within driving distance. It was an easy 10 minute drive to downtown. Clean house and they had everything we needed!」
