「Stay was short and sweet. Arrived late and key was easy to get to in the lock box. Was out before anyone showed up and left key in the lockbox. Nothing fancy, but a great place to shack up for an early flight. Shuttle arranged and showed up early.」

「I had a great stay at Refugio Lodge in Tamarindo! The rooms were nice, clean, and well-maintained, making for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of Tamarindo and just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The staff was wonderful, especially Agustin, who was incredibly helpful and communicative. He was always quick to answer questions, provided great recommendations, and helped us arrange tours. The guys in the cafe and the bar staff were all very kind...

「A great boutique hotel in a great location between Tamarindo and Langosta but at the moment temporarily disadvantaged by all the new construction next door. Boho provides member access to the Langosta Beach Club just across the street. Room design deserves an award. 」

「Shannon was an excellent host. Nice breakfast each morning sat above the pool area. Our bungalow was clean and comfortable with daily maid service. A few minutes walk to the lively town and beach where all the action of Tamarindo is going on. The pool was great to cool down and relax in the hammocks and day beds under the shade. The bungalows are an excellent small, homely oasis to chill out and escape the corporate world. We would stay again with Shannon and her lovely staff. 」

「Pretty remote location about two hours from the airport. Roads are horrible or non existent. Nice pool. Electricity was out for 8 hours with no generator. Nice breakfast every morning. A couple of decent restaurants in walking distance , nothing fancy but food was good . Lola’s right on the beach and Gregarios. Only a three minute walk to the beach. Hosts were friendly, welcoming and informative. 」
