This hotel is pretty good for price. I always stay here when I come to the New London Area. The staff are very helpful and professional, the breakfast pretty good for the price. You won't find a better hotel in the area for this low price.

The room was clean and pleasant. No complaints. My only feedback is that the third floor smelled like a cigarette lounge. That was only in the hallway but that is an area for improvement.

The older gentleman was very slow at check in but was very nice. The toilet was very old and warped. The ice from the ice machine smelled and there was rust underneath. Seems like the place needs to be updated.

The rooms were clean although some spots (like the shower head) could have used some upgrades. The pool was small but it worked well and was warm. Unfortunately, the walls were thin because if your neighbor decided to be loud, you could easily hear it. The breakfast was great although while we were there, the warm food choices ran out. The staff we interacted with were pleasant. And parking was easy. I would recommend this hotel for a quick stop like we used it for.

The room was okay but we discovered late at night that the comforter and the bathroom smelled like smoke in #113. There was no nightstand on my side of the bed. : ( Breakfast average with toast, scrambled eggs, some kind of sausage (pork? turkey?) Coffee was pretty good. The plastic knives and forks were the flimsiest we've ever seen. I wish the guy tending to the resupply at the breakfast bar wouldn't touch his face and hair during prep. At least wear some gloves. Not so happy.

For the price, this no-frills hotel suited our needs. The bed was comfortable (firm), the bathroom is very large (includes shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion). The breakfast area seating is quite cozy, and offers microwaved eggs and sausage, 2 cereals, some bagels/english muffins/blueberry muffins/toast, and 1 waffle machine. The pool is fairly small. The fitness room has one treadmill, one elliptical, and one weightlifting machine. Washing machines and dryers are on each floor ($3.50 per machine per load) While it’s not fancy, it met our needs and we will stay here again when in the area.

The staff was good, but the hotel wasn’t giving all that it could give. The heating system was terrible, and the breakfast was awful. It was staged as a hotel, but really was just a over priced motel..
