This is a cute cabin, bathrooms are updated, deck seems pretty new and is made of trek deck or similar material and is very nice, and very large. The slope of the sand into the water is perfect for the little kids. I read the reviews prior to staying saying the cabin was dirty and I don't agree - the cabin is perfect if you are expecting that true Pacific Northwest rustic cabin experience. It was not dirty at all. There are loads of dishes, pots and pans for use, the BBQ is brand new and along with the beautiful deck became the focal point of our family.
There were a lot of nails and screws in the sand - seems like maybe someone tore down a deck or something and pulled nails and left them. We raked several times and found more than 30. Would be unsafe for kids to run around without water shoes (ours had water shoes on so they were fine). We tried to contact the property manager several times with questions prior to our stay with no response, not even sure if the contact information we were given was correct. We then called the rental agency and they answered our questions so it didn't matter. If you want a cozy northwest cabin experience you should stay here - if you want a new house/building and close contact with the property manager you should not.
