The property is very cute, but we had a few issues. When we walked in, the property smelled very musty. We bought some febreeze which helped, but it was pretty pervasive, especially in the west bedroom with the double bed. The living room furniture is not very comfortable (likely because both pieces fold out to beds), so we did not spend much time sitting there. Also, the dining table is SO warped, you can barely place a drink on it without it sliding to the middle. We had some bug issues as well, just lots of bugs inside (screen doors were closed the whole time, but they are old and have holes). The kitchen is not very well appointed, only a few pots and pans and hardly any "staples" like oil etc. (though Michelle did leave us a bag of very delicious coffee beans, which was great). All that said, we got used to the property by the end of our week there, and felt very at home. The front porch is cute and gets a lot of sun. The record player is a great touch. And the property is really close to Ithaca and lots of surrounding parks and hikes, making it a great hub for seeing the area. Michelle was very responsive when we had an issue, and she gave me a tour of the garden and offered veggies to take back to the house. We saw tons of wildlife around ... bunnies and chipmunks in the yard, deer on the road into town, and lots of birds. The resident dog is a delight; he greeted us when we arrived and "showed us around." I would definitely stay here again, but suggest stocking the kitchen a bit more and replacing the dining table.
