The property staff were EXTREMELY rude. I was charged a fee before I got to the property though I had selected “reserve now, pay later” which would have me pay the whole amount when I got to the property. So imagine my surprise when I woke up the morning of and saw they attempted to charge a fee on my credit card on file for Expedia. Luckily, the payment did not go through, but the property sent me a message on Expedia asking me to call them asap at a number. I simply obliged and called to find out why I was charged the fee before check in, and since it didn’t go through if that was significant or would affect my booking. The overnight staff I assume at 7:15am answered my call without any introduction and when I introduced myself and said I was calling about my reservation— and I was rudely interrupted by “okay so what do you want?!” I was taken aback by this because it was highly unprofessional and I was now doubting if I even had the right number. When I tried to explain I was charged a fee, I couldn’t even get my sentence out before the man started yelling at me saying the fee is to hold my room and continued yelling about it without me even saying a word. He then handed the phone to another staff who yelled at me as well and when I asked why I keep getting interrupted, I couldn’t even finish the sentence, the yelling continued and I was hung up on in my face! Unfortunately it was too late to cancel the booking without a hefty fee and had to stay. Service was horrible.
