We really enjoyed our stay at this unique historical brick cottage that has been beautifully restored in a very artistic manner. It was easy short walk to the gold museum, where we spent much of the afternoon. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had.
A surprisingly beautiful heritage house renovated into 3 rooms, with windows retained. The way it was built, the decor, and the house was designed by the hospitable host's husband. There was a pond with frogs and crabs in front and at the back of the house. Breakfast included a rice burger. Cozy.
The host even showed us the room next door with the original kitchen and oven!
This was better than a nice hotel because of how the host took care of us.
