Summary:
Welcome to our freshly renovated house in New Castle DE, conveniently located just 5 minuets from the Delaware Memorial bridge and 15 minutes to Pennsylvania. This cozy modern home can accommodate up to 6 guests (2 per bedroom) and has 2 off street parking spots. The port of Wilmington is located 1.9 miles away, the Delaware City Refinery is 10 miles away, and 12 miles to the Marcus Hook industrial complex.

The Space:
The home boasts 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs and an open concept kitchen flowing into the living room and dining area. A power room and laundry room are also located on the first floor.
The main bedroom has a king size bed, 65" 4k TV, 4 piece ensuite bath and 2 closets. The other 2 bedrooms have a queen size bed, closet and 55" 4k TV.

Guest Access:
We use a keypad deadbolt and will send you the door code on the day of check in.

The Neighborhood:
The Holloway Terrace is a solid blue collar neighborhood first established in 1916 and is in the middle of a re-development boom. Mixed in with the original houses are a bunch of new construction homes, re-development started in the early 2000's and has steadily continued. Depending on which way you are traveling the exit from I-295 is the first once crossing the Delaware Memorial Bridge or the last exit before crossing the bridge. Unfortunately due to the close proximity of I-295 you will drive past several low budget motels when entering the neighborhood (if following GPS). I always recommend that guests use the Route 9 Library & Innovation Center as the GPS address, then use the house address (it is .5 miles away from the Library). The people staying at the low budget hotels never seem to come into the neighborhood, it's just not pleasant driving past them and can be alarming if you are not expecting it.

Getting Around:
The house has parking, Uber and Lyft are readily available and it is a .5 mile walk to the closest bus station (New Castle Ave @ Hillview Ave Stop ID: 1776)
