We had a fairly large family group. The property is listed as five bedrooms but is only 4 with several beds in a loft. Two of our adults ended up not being able to come, so the fifth/private bedroom was not needed in the end, but would have presented a problem if they had come since they all have babies/preschoolers that need to nap and would need a quiet/closed off space. It also lists 3 bathrooms - it is actually 2 1/2. We did have a very nice stay and had lots of fun. The oven does not work properly as it took a lot longer to bake a lasagna than the recipe called for but there was a food thermometer in the kitchen so it all worked out, just later than we hoped (the timer on the oven does not work at all), but the kitchen was fairly well stocked with dishes and equipment. Some of the dishes we pulled out were greasy but that's probably the fault of the previous renters. There was trash under the master bedroom bed and dead spiders here and there, but nothing bothersome. We loved the large deck on the front of the house and BBQing area. It's a "homey" home. Furnishings are nothing fancy but adequate. There is not a closet in the master bedroom, so hanging clothes went in one of the secondary rooms. It is close enough to the beach to walk to and the neighbors were friendly. Both of the garbage cans were completely full when we got there, so we had to cram in our trash as well as leave some of it by the side of the garbage shed. There was a hatchet left in the wood in the backyard, so future guests might want to check for safety issues if they have children. I would recommend the owners provide safety gates and maybe a pack 'n play or two for future guests with children. Overall, we loved how roomy this property was and might consider going back! Neskowin is a quaint town! There are two restaurants there. Neither's service was that great, but the food was good!
