Tiny Cottage that had it all
We had a wonderful week at Bankers Cottage!!! The location is amazing. We could hear the waves when we opened the front door. Right across the street is the public beach access. The house was spotless when we arrived. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept in. The house was perfect for my husband and I and our dog. There are two rockers on the porch that we sat in and enjoyed the night sky. There is also a picnic table if you would like to eat outside. We highly recommend Bankers Cottage! It is a gem!

Will Return
This is the second time we have stayed at Bankers Cottage. We will return. We love the area, also like the cottage. It fits our needs. The only issue is the floors are in bad need of mopping. Also there is never a dish rag or dish towel. I bring extra rags incase of a need. Glad I did this time.

Spring Break Getaway
Perfect little get-away, actually it was ten days and my husband, myself, and two dogs had a very relaxing vacation. We had some meals at the cottage and some out. It was the perfect combination. We’d awake for sunrise on the beach and then go back to cottage and sleep in for a bit more. We were able to go from Cape Hatteras to Corolla during our stay. Traffic was not bad at all. We loved the jeep tour in Corolla and saw some ponies. We loved Jockeys Ridge. We shopped a few times in Manteo and visited the List Colony as well as Wanchese. We found an awesome shell store over there with other souvenirs too. We brought home one of the crab float decorations that is now hanging in our yard. We heard a great story about them from a local resident. We are RV’ers so the little cottage is the lifestyle we are used to. Perfect!

Loved our stay at Bankers Cottage
We enjoyed our stay at the Bankers Cottage - communication was outstanding and check-in super easy. The location is fantastic and the cottage was very comfortable and accommodating for us and our pup Zen. We will definitely be back!!

Perfect for two
This house was perfect for my husband and I and our two small dogs. Short walk to beach. Just as described, clean and decorated nicely. Kitchen small but has everything needed to cook small meals while there. It was amazing-don’t pass up this little gem!

Great location and we had everything we needed. The beach wagon was broken and we were able to contact the owner right away and they replaced it that same day.

Lovely tiny cottage!
Lovely TINY cottage! I have to emphasize TINY tho, not to deter anyone from staying here, just be realistic about the space. So many positive things to say tho, amazingly easy beach access right across the street, just far enough out of town to be quiet but close enough to get food, the AC unit is EFFECTIVE, good WiFi, overall a very well appointed tiny space. The cons are personal preference so may not apply to everyone, but the shower is small, the mini fridge in the kitchen will hold some cold drinks but not enough space to store leftovers, and we couldn’t seem to get the outside spigot working to rinse any sandy feet. But we loved our stay and we look forward to working with these hosts again!

Tiny home, all you need!
It was really all you need in your stay. Me and my two dogs had enough space and with the beach right across the street the location is perfect. So grateful for the beach wagon that was at the home too!

The Bankers Cottage was perfect for this retired couple and our 2 small dogs. Beach access could not have been more convenient. Will probably try to stay here again.

Great little get away
Great little place for a couple and their pets! We come to the OBX at least annually. We wanted to take our bulldogs let them experience something new and this little cottage was perfect for a long weekend. Close to all our favorite restaurants. I’m sure we’ll be back!

Bankers cottage was perfect! Perfect area, close access to the beach and just a short drive to restaurants & shopping but secluded enough to have our own space. Very clean house. We are already looking to book this cottage again!

Cozy winter vacation
We loved our stay at this little house. The proximity to the ocean was our favorite, and there was even a little wagon to carry our things over to the beach. We would recommend bringing an extra blanket if you come in colder temperatures, and note that the mattress has a lot of give if you have back issues. With that said, this cottage had everything we needed. Thank you!

Location was very good. The "cottage " could have been cleaner. Some storage would have helped. We lived out of a suitcase for a week. 2 towels for 2 people for a week. We shouldn't have had to ask for more. That should have been a given.

Awesome & perfect cute little get-away!!
Stayed for a week in this cute cottage. It had everything we needed for a great beach couples vacation. Newly renovated and everything was perfect. We couldn't ask or want any more. The cottage was well maintained, the kitchenette was well stocked, and the bathroom and shower were roomy. Beach access is located directly across the street, so no long hikes to find the beach access locations. Being a dog-friendly place, we were wondering if there would be a lingering pet/wet dog smell, and there was no smell at all. We highly recommend this cute cottage, and we will be rebooking it in the future!
