"We arrived after dark via taxi and were surprised at the incredible location and architecture. This is an authentic Japanese experience— tatami floors and comfortable futon mats!! We knew we would be magically surprised in the morning and we were! It’s nestled up on the hillside with an incredible view of Mt Fuji! "This was a cosy, comfy stay for 1 night. Although the owner couldn't speak English, and I can't speak proficient Japanese, the communication worked with the help of translation apps. Although it was snowing outside, the heating in the room warmed us up quickly. Note to say that the walls are quite thin, as you'd expect in a traditionally built Japanese building, so you can for sure hear other guests snoring. Didn't bother me at all though. Was a nice stay. "

"Property was good, but i found grtting around the area inconvinient as everything was far away from each other. However there is a extensive tourist bus system so you could get to everywhere you wanted to go, it would just tske time "

"Stay was convenient. Although i did try to contact staff by email and phone i had no luck. But i also didnt book directly with the hostel so its not their fault either. Luckily there was somoene willing to help get in contact with staff. Bedding was comfortable enough, room was provided with air conditioning. But all in all its totally fine for a short stay. Right next to family mart and easy self check in ~ bonus!! "
