「So quiet. Far enough out to be away from everything, but everything is still accessible. The unit was so comfortable. Has everything we needed and more. We will be booking again in the future」

「The cottage is very well thought out and had everything we needed. The location is fantastic, as we could walk to restaurants and cafes and the gallery and other attractions. We had a few issues during our stay but Sue was super responsive and did all she could to remedy as quickly as possible.」

「It was a pleasure to stay in the cottage again, this time celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary. It was as beautiful and as quite and peaceful as we remembered the first time, and as we knew what to expect, we had an amazingly relaxing getaway. The bottle of Moet in the fridge was such an amazing surprise.....just fantastic all-round.」

「We go to Bendigo every year for the Bendigo Chamber Music Festival and one of the best things about it is "our" little Rowan Cottage. It's so comfortable, has a delightful garden at the back, and there are always goodies on our arrival (e.g. a cake and/or a bowl of fresh strawberries). The hosts, Julie and Gary, are very friendly and communication is easy. Highly recommend !」

「We including our dog loved the place and the location to town and the lake was perfect everyone was happy」

「The Bosses Settlement was a real find and surpassed our expectations from the moment we arrived. Picturesquely located in rolling countryside, cahrmingly renovated, very comfortablely furnished (esp the beds),the Settlemnet had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Apart from the house there were so many outdoor areas to relax in, verandahs on 3 sides, beautiful gardens and a fire pit area. 「It's pricey but overall a good hotel, only downside is there isn't room service or many options and the daily housekeeping is inconsistent and not the best, had to leave full trash bags outside a couple of times, and had to ask for room to be vacuumed at least once a week.
