「On arrival we were greeted by our wonderful host Chris who shared his wealth of information about the area. The house was perfect for our stay with family. Very clean,tidy, spacious and comfortable with everything we needed and more. The children were delighted when Chis arrived the next morning to feed the emus goats and chooks. 「The cottage is very well thought out and had everything we needed. The location is fantastic, as we could walk to restaurants and cafes and the gallery and other attractions. We had a few issues during our stay but Sue was super responsive and did all she could to remedy as quickly as possible.」

「The Bosses Settlement was a real find and surpassed our expectations from the moment we arrived. Picturesquely located in rolling countryside, cahrmingly renovated, very comfortablely furnished (esp the beds),the Settlemnet had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. 「Lovely property, renovated (but not "restored") to high standard but modern electricals (great wifi, TV) and kitchen/baths. Spacious home, multiple eating areas, quiet street, and with a terrific host. Maldon is a charming small town and well-located to see the goldfields area. Only downside is there are only a couple of places in the town proper to dine out (Castlemaine is close). But a great place with all creature comforts.」
