"It’s perfectly located for day trips, right next to an amazing pub with great food and good beer. The owners are friendly, helpful and informative. It has all the amenities that you need for an extended stay. The WiFi is great, it has a nice kitchen, a good sized comfortable bed, wading machine, access to a dryer. It was a great to relax between day trips and we had a fabulous vacation. We would definitely visit Una and Pat again!"

"Nice place with a lovely view but takes too long to get to a main road 20minuets on small bumpy country roads in a larger than normal car was not a great experience there where lots to see and do close by Carrick on Shannon was not far away neither was Lough Key which has lots to do for the whole family but mostly only during the holiday season."

"Una and Pat are great hosts. The lodging was absolutely wonderful. The village was quiet and peaceful and Tom enjoyed talking with the locals. Dinner at Weirs Pub and Restaurant was delightful. If we ever come back to Ireland, we would definitely make this a stop on our itinerary and stay longer next time! "

Although not in the description I read, there was an air fryer provided which we did try and found useful (we do not have one at home). "We wanted a relaxing day/night away and that’s what we got! Our room was ready two hours early, we were allowed to use the spa area as much as we liked, even after check-out, food and service great! "We found the Kilmore Hotel in Cavan town to be absolutely excellent in each and every category and actually couldnt find a a bad word to say about it!
