Between a room with two single beds and a room with futon (Japanese floor mattress for sleeping) we (a couple) chose the one with futon and was surprised that our room is the one with two single beds. After talking with the property staff for long time explaining that we specifically choose the room with futon on Expedia, we were told it is not possible to change our room to futon one and that the property actually doesn’t allow to choose between bed and futon and that it’s probably an Expedia’s mistake.
In addition, the room had a kettle but there was no coffee cups (or any other cups and kitchen things) and the staff gave us two plastic cups and two plastic forks after we asked...
We were exited by the wooden design and the room location but were so disappointed by the separate beds issue and room amenities.
