"The property stated that there was a reception open from 7am-9pm. There is not. They were supposed to send me a message with the code for the key box. They did not. The security there were very kind in helping us contact them as the number on the site was wrong. There was no power the night we stayed there. "Absolutely fantastic stay with our 1 year old. The location is excellent, nice and secluded surrounded by breathtaking scenery and extensive lawns. Short drive to the local attractions. The food was excellent and the staff could not have been more welcoming providing flawless service. We stayed in a Deluxe Suite which is perfect for families for a separate bedroom for children. "

"The property is like stepping into a luxurious game lodge from a bygone age yet you’re only 15 minutes from the town of Plettenberg and about 5 minutes to a wonderful stretch of beach just down the hill. However the facility itself is nearly new so it features all the modern conveniences to be had. Architects and interior designers will be fascinated by the attention to detail that went into the construction of this lodge. The grounds are extensive and include a horse stable and several paths, providing plenty of opportunity to take in some casual exercise in a wonderful secluded environment. The proprietors and staff were incredibly warm and friendly and the advice given made sure we got the most out of our 2 days there. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the Crags. "
