「This is a great getaway for two, yet so close to town and the ocean. With the kitchen, hot tub and deck, it’s hard to beat this place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. 」

「Our 2nd stay @ Sandy Clove Cottage. We had a wonderful time, despite a cold start. We had no heat when we arrived. With that, we had the privilege of meeting our host Bob. He came to our rescue & got the heat going for us. Such a very nice man. Thank you Bob. Even with all that, we very much enjoyed our stay. Can't wait to return. Beautiful cottage. Walk to the beach everyday. Listen to the ocean. Sit on the porch & watch people & wildlife pass by. So very enjoyable.Tim & Leilani」

House had everything we needed and loved all the curated touches like the fireplace, heated bathroom floors, hot tub, and most impressive - the view. Being so high up, everyday felt different. 「We had a delightful stay at the cottage during our quick weekend trip to Mendocino. The location was perfect right in the middle of town and we were able to walk down to the Headlands State Park as well as the downtown art galleries and cafes. Heather is a fantastic host and we will absolutely seek this place out on our next trip to Mendocino.」

「Wonderful site overlooking the Pacific dunes and ocean. Many places to sit and absorb the view including a fire pit that we used every night. The internet wifi connection was out the entire time but the owner tried hard to rectify. Because of spotty cell service it was hard to get on the net. Despite this, it was a great site to relax and enjoy the isolation. Although we did not use the kayaks, they were convenient to the waters of the estuary and would be a great way to explore.」

「Really enjoyed the cozy vibes of the cottage and well-stocked kitchen for cooking. The view is seriously amazing. Very special to get to relax by the beautiful coastal cliffs. One thing: The doors to the deck look like they're made to open all the way up (and presumably were intended for this) but actually got stuck and became immovable. Flipping through the guidebook for a solution we eventually found a sticky note that said 'don't open the doors, they'll get stuck' -- which is both too little...
