I appreciated the compostable plates, but would suggest to completely reduce one-time-use plates/cups/silverware, and just use regular dishes. The room was directly opposite the elevator, which led to some noise annoyances. Would be better to have the doors fully sealed to not be disturbed. "This was our first time staying here and we both enjoyed it very much. It was very nice to have a ground floor room. We used the jacuzzi tub in the room which was something neither of us have had at a hotel before. Check in and out was very easy and straight forward with the staff being very friendly and communication was great."

"Fun location in a classic American seaside town, great spot for a couple of Nova Scotians to explore the area and make a daytrip to Boston. Room was a little old and cramped but clean enough and functional, although a microwave would have been good. I wouldn't stay here in peak season though, the town would be jam packed, and the hotel was loud enough in October due to overlooking the pool and kids playing soccer in the parking lot. "I booked here because it included breakfast. The breakfast was a sad joke. It was a continental breakfast at best but barely. I came down 5 minutes before breakfast was due to close to get another cup of coffee and everything was already gone which doesn’t say much - they packed up the bagels and dry muffins. Otherwise, my room was quiet and adequate. The property was undergoing renovation so I don’t think it’s fair to comment on any of that but breakfast was sad. "

"Very clean motel! The view of the ocean was nice, plenty of kitchen utensils, grills to cook on outdoors. We were on the bottom floor and could hear every footstep above us, so if you are a light sleeper, this would be tiresome. Beautiful beach and close to everything!"

"I booked a room not knowing there were 13 stairs involved. I just had knee replacement surgery. So the stairs were a no thank you. But the wonderful manager at the wagon wheel saw my situation and changed our room to a ground floor level unit . Thank you for all the kindness. The room and our stay were just perfect. "

Wonderful anniversary weekend

"We visited for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary. Everything was amazing. Staff was courteous and friendly. We ate at many of the areas fine dining establishments but had breakfast each day at the hotel and ended each night with drinks and dessert at the bar. We will definitely be back soon!"
