The restaurant in Bages was a 5 minute walk and was lovely also although unless you have a car (or arrange a taxi which can be quite expensive we foune) there are not so many options around other than that but the hotel itself is nice enough to want to stay! "Great choice if you are visiting Paulliac or Saint Julien wineries at Bordeaux. Very close to a few famous ones. The room is spacious and the amenities are nice. Good restaurant as well. However, the only issue is the Accessibility, they have quite a few bumps, stairs if you are using a wheelchair or so."

"The first thing you notice is that the outside of the hotel needs repainting. The second is that the old chipped bath in the ensuite needs ripping out and a modern shower is needed as you can't stand up and shower in the bath. Having said that, the rest of our stay was lovely. The hotel is attached to five acres of woods, they allow dogs to stay in the rooms, and our two Labradors loved their walks there. The swimming pool looks nice, although being February we didn't try it! The staff are...
