Perfect description, perfect place
Mt. RelaxCATION was a perfect place - tons of stuff for the kids to do, and tons of places for the adults to hang out while the kids were busy. Communication with the property owner was great and any questions we had were answered immediately. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Wonderful Getaway
We had a wonderful time with family and friends at this property. This home was spotless and was equipped with all necessities. The kids had plenty of activities to keep them occupied (arcade games, fuseball table, basketball, ect..). Everyone also enjoyed the hotub. We also spent some time at the waterpark which was a short distance from this property. Overall, a great weekend getaway and we highly recommend this property and apprectiate the opportunity to spend time in this home :)

Happy misfits!
We’re a group of 15 that usually get together once a year and finally found a winter place to get together that accommodates all of us completely and boy did we love it here! The house was perfect! The renters were so helpful and easy to communicate. The house was clean and we loved the hot tub! We even got to watch a heard of deer up close all weekend long. We will absolutely be back!

Wonderful Weekend at Massanutten
Awesome house! Great layout for family ski trip. This is our fifth year doing a weekend ski trip to Massanutten in January or February, and this house was our favorite. So much to do and such a great location! We will be back!

Girls Weekend
My wife had her 43rd birthday here. She and seven other 40 something ladies enjoyed a great escape from their families. They enjoyed the hot tub and the large table upstairs to play cards. The snow that came down the day of arrival did not sway them at all. The house was great and they had plenty of room. All the ladies said they would go back.

Fun and cozy mountain house
4 families (7 adults and 8 kids) stayed for 4 nights and had a great time. The downstairs was great for the kids hangout and the arcade games added to the fun for them. They also really enjoyed the small room full of toys and games. Kids enjoying themselves downstairs made it so the adults could have some adult time upstairs. Communication with the owner was great and overall everyone had a great experience!

This house was perfect. All the bedrooms are very spacious. There were 6 adults and 6 kids. The kids really enjoyed the games. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans etc..The owner was easy and quick too communicate with. Very accommodating. I would highly recommend this house. It is 5 minutes from all activities.

Easily accessible tons of great amenities and set up to accommodate our big family/friends weekend in a extremely comfortable way. Great times and Great Memories!
All 16 of us (4 families) were able to stay at the rental very comfortably. Kids loved the game room and game machines. We all also really enjoyed the hot tub, hammock, and fire pit. It was well stocked. Owners James and Amanda were very helpful and accommodating. We hope to return soon!

Overall, the property was lovely and it accommodated us perfectly. We were in close proximity to everything you could possibly think of as far as attractions. The amenities in the house were amazing and kept us busy thoughout the night. We were in constant communication with the owners and it helped make things run even smoother than it already was. Be prepared to see deer everywhere, it was beautiful. If we are in the area again, I will definitely see if this property is available. A++ property!

A good time for all!
Our family had an absolute blast at this well appointed cozy home! We enjoyed time outside playing for hole and sitting by the gas fire in the evenings. But, the game room in the garage was everyone’s favorite! Fuzz all, billiards, and a basketball hoop shoot game kept everyone busy, especially the kids while the adults were preparing dinner. We also appreciated the large dinner table at which our entire group could sit together for our meals. The location of the home is situated just outside of Shenandoah NP and near the stunning Luray caverns. We didn’t have time to enjoy the other amenities of the Massanutten resort, it im sure there is much fun to be had there as well. Thanks to the owners for providing the means for our family to gather and enjoy this wonderful comer of our beautiful country! We would love to come back and stay longer!

Everything and More!
This mountain house had everything we needed and more! We arrived to a beautiful, clean, and well stocked home. We had 3 families, each with 3 kids. The 9 kids never ran out of fun, from the game room to exploring the woods. Plenty of beds, extra blankets, extra supplies, high chair, boosters, pack n plays, spices, the list goes on. We all kept commenting on how it’s the most thoughtfully prepares vrbo we’ve stayed at. From the house, we easily jumped to all the resort activities. The owner James was in contact with us each day to make sure we had what we needed, so kind and helpful. I would highly recommend this home for anyone traveling with multiple families. We had an amazing vacation. Hopefully we will return soon!

Birthday Weekend in the Mountains!
The spot was perfect for a big group of adults to get together! I was super impressed by the accuracy of the posting in real life. James & Amanda were great host! Mountain Retreat for Family Gatherings
We had a great time at this location. The property is very well and thoughtfully maintained. Everything is clean and seems new. The house may not look big out front but there is lots and lots of space for lots of family members. This is perfect for large family gatherings with multiple generations. There’s several spaces for groups to gather comfortably, as well as lots of rooms and patios to escape when you need time alone. Our teens and tweens appreciated the room with arcade games and board games (we called it the Game-atorium) as well as the garage with foosball, climbing wall, and basketball game (we called it the stadium). Be forewarned, in the closet with board games is a small set of bongo drums. You may want to hide these if you don’t want the kids to get them. Also be warned, the kids might find where you hid the drums anyways when they’re playing hide-and-seek. The extra fridge/freezer was essential to feeding a large group. The location in the mountain woods was peaceful and pretty. There is great bird watching out the back porch if you like. Our host James was available and helpful and friendly.

Absolutely Amazing!!
Our family of 14 had a blast @ this beautiful home! Everything was so easy. Communication was great! I've stayed quite a few places & this house doesn't disappoint & by far was one of our absolute favorites! Our kids luved everything about this house & were never bored!

We just got back from a 3 night family trip to Massanutten, VA. We were a big group of 16 people and we fit comfortably. We really enjoyed our stayed. The owner James was great. He answered all my questions before the trip and during. The 2 arcade games in the basement were a hit for the kids and even adults. We would definitely come back to this home.

Amazing house and outstanding hosts
We stayed at James and Amanda’s house for a couple of nights and had such a great time. We were four adults and four kids but the house can easily accommodate another family. The house was spotless and so thoughtfully furnished and organized. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all meals. The kids loved the garage with climbing wall, the bunk beds, the toy closet, and the Ms Pac-man machine! The yard was wonderful too, perfect for little explorers. The adults really enjoyed both patios, the grill, and the gas fire pit. Everything in the house was thoughtfully labeled. We were most impressed with the hosts’ timely, helpful, and friendly communication. We highly recommend this property and would love to go back.
