「This was our 5th stay at Bear Beach. We usually like to move around and try new places, but there simply is no place like it. It is a beautiful tradition we vow to repeat each year from our beach chairs. Maine at its wildest and most serene, with absolute privacy, epic days and glorious sunsets. We love to swim at high tide, dig for clams and clay at low tide and then rinse in the warm outdoor shower and relax in the sauna. Thank you Sue for sharing this with us!」

「We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything went smoothly from check in to check out. The home was clean and well appointed and Pascal and Florence were attentive and wonderful hosts. There’s a lot to enjoy in the area - from hiking and visits to Acadia, to kayaking and whale watching, or just relaxing and taking in the beautiful views of the ocean in front of the house. 」

「Phil was a wonderful host and provided great information and options for things to do. The house had excellent views of the harbor and sunrises. We particularly enjoyed watching the lobster boats going in and out. Phil arranged for us to take a trip on a working lobster boat which was an amazing opportunity and we loved it. 「Plenty of room for all of us to have some alone time, although we spent most of the time relaxing on the deck taking in the beautiful panoramic views. This is a sunny spot, and the weather was perfect all week! It could use another umbrella for shade because the deck is full sun most of the day, but we sat at a picnic table on the shady side of the house to get some reprieval.
