Location - beautiful, tranquil with incredible 360 views of the Atlas Mountains. Only 45 minutes from central Marrakech. We would recommend this as a bolt on to any stay in Morocco.
Hotel - the architecture and gardens are stunning, one of the most beautiful buildings we have come across; very peaceful.
Room Facilities – the rooms are basic so to stay true to the ‘Berber’ style. There are no TVs but working WIFI which is perfectly in keeping with what the hotel has too offer; a perfect escape! The only thing missing for us within the rooms would be a dressing gown, slippers and a softer bed!
Food – breakfast is a choice of cereals, along with warm selections of Moroccon pancakes or Eggs which was perfectly pleasant, but it would be nice to see something other than Eggs on offer. The hotel allows for a really relaxing, slow breakfast with plenty of tea / coffee on offer as well.
Dinner needs to be taken each night at the hotel as there are no other restaurants around. A 3 course meal is 240 dh which is more expensive than what you would find in the Medina. However, the food was good quality and the menu varies each night. The staff are very accommodating if you want something slightly different to what is on the menu too.
Staff – so lovely and make you feel at such ease.
