We rented a car, it was nice that there were restaurants and groceries within walking distance on the days we wanted to wander. Read the reviews, yes the music from Rainbow Cafe can be loud but it ends relatively early (10:45pm on weekend, much earlier weekdays). The terrace is spectacular. The apartment is well furnished.
