Really big, comfy bed. Beautifully furnished and modern rooms, corridors and foyer. Good wifi and plenty of sockets around the place. Nice to see twinings tea and not tetley. Good to have a coffee machine too.
But the builders and owners should have definitely spent more time working through the snag list - lightbulbs were flashing in the foyer and need replacing. One light in my room didn’t work (next to my bed). When I tried the bathroom mirror light, it didn't work either. Then a shelf which held the tray of coffee/tea wasn't secured properly, so when I pulled out the tray well the shelf, tray and every one of its contents fell down the back of the cupboard. Luckily nothing smashed. Finally when I went to use the female sanitary bags, I pulled a bag out and the front of the bag holder came off and fell in the loo 😆

Always check your snag list when signing off a new build!!!
Nothing major though 😆 just not "hotels re-thought" as advertised. Actually, just like any other hotel really.
Oh, and the poor reception team need better desks and facilities to welcome guests, the system was super slow to check in, and they had to use mousepads on the laptops, give them a mouse! It wasn't a quick check in for sure.
But, I can't fault the friendliness of the staff, they were all very polite and friendly
