This motel was really nice. The room were very neat and clean. The only thing I didn't care for was the closeness between the toliet and bathtub. But over all I can give it a 5 star rating

The motel checkin is at the hotel next door as well as the ice machine. Also the screen on the balcony had blue tape holding it together and it was hard to slide. The bathroom had no stopper for the tub, mold growing on the balcony. There were fire pits but no wood to use. Finally, trash everywhere by the beach as well as in ft of the porch( cigarette butts, alcohol bottle tops ect

The room was clean and plenty of clean linens were provided. No towel bars were available to hang wet towels on. There was only one lamp in the room, making it very dim. Also, the microwave ran off of an electrical switch, and we weren't made aware of this beforehand. We had to figure it out on our own.

Inside was clean and updated. Our room was on the top floor and the ceiling of the hallway was covered in spiders. The bathroom was a 6/10 cleanliness. When we arrived there was hair on the toilet and side of shower.

We had a week stay and were not very pleased. When we arrived we didn’t know where the office was, then when we finally found it and got our room there was nothing but trash and extremely hot in the room, it was definitely not somewhere I wanted to lay my head at. We then were placed into another room that was better compared to the first one but the beds were extremely itchy, I had to go buy a broom and disinfectant wipes because the floors were so dirty. The water in the showers etc smelled sooo bad on the last night we were there I was picking up the room and getting things together so it was a easy clean for the next day and I was moving towels and there were baby ANTS in the towels! The pools are freezing and nasty. I will not be spending my time here ever again, I would not recommend this motel to anyone! You are better off in your car!

Very very dirty as soon as we walked in, essentiallythe floors. Our daughter walked for only a few minutes and here feet were crazy black. We were very confused, then figured out all our feet were black from the dirty floor. We asked management to clean our room the next day. They never got to it. They only cleaned it the day before we had to leave from our 3 night stay. Very not professional.

Other than the place just needs a good cleaning, its not that bad. Staff just needs to take a little bit more time to do a thorough cleaning.

After reading the reviews we were a little nervous, but as soon as we arrived the front desk staff was amazing, and they even quickly accommodated for our puppy and a last minute additional night stay! The rooms were newly renovated, and very spacious! We even got a little gift for staying with them! Totally recommend!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights over the 4th of July weekend. We absoluty loved it. We got moved to the Sunrise motel, we got a 2nd story room with a balcony that overlooked lake Huron and the bridge. It was beautiful! There were few minor things but the good outweighed the bad! We can't wait to come back next year!

No refrigerator!! Tv remote barely works, ran out of toilet paper, access to ice was inconvenient, staff was rude and condescending when we told her no fridge and when they preapproved my debit card without consent (resulting in bouncing my bank acc) when I booked this room on Expedia it gave us a option to pay on arrival

Went to stay here for 2 nights. Arrived late at night and they left the key in the mailbox. Went into room and there was cob webs in every corner, I had to kill 9 giant spiders (seen in pictures) I used a coat handed to twirl up the cob webs. There was tissue stuffed in the window a/c unit (fully view of the outside/draft). The shower didn’t drain. Tried to go to office to talk to and no one was there. Called multiple times to get a different room no one answered. It was late so we had to stay the one night. I was in the phone with Expedia trying to cancel tomorrows night cause we couldn’t stay another night in these conditions. In the morning, was told I need to go to management to get a refund for the following night. And I had to drive to different hotels with a sign on the door saying go to this location, once you got to that location had to go to the other location. Once arrived had to wait for someone to arrive and she was extremely unprofessional and rude. Not to be mean but she was straight “white trash” and Her face was wrinkled up and stuck up not to because she already knew she wasn’t going to accommodate her guest and said you need to cancel 3 days prior to your stay. How were we suppose to know the room was going to be this poor of condition and then can’t cancel the following night. Total scam to have a policy in place that you need to cancel 3 days prior when you can see the condition of the room until you get there. The pictures are false advertising.

Awesome view of the bridge. Being right on the water was exactly why i chose this location. The price was very budget friendly for our quick overnight stay.
