「Firstly we liked the property, its location, the room and a great breakfast served by friendly staff. Our only issue was our room was next to a club playing loud music between 7 and 1, apparently on Fridays and Saturdays. The owners are in dispute over this and were able to move us to a room away from the noise.」

「Our visit to Mellington Hall Country House Hotel was fantastic. The property is amazing, the staff were really attentive and amazing also. The food was superb and the service throughout was exceptional. After the meal we sat in the lovely building which has quiet rooms or an open fire. We went just before Christmas and so the property was probably quieter than during the summer months, but we definitely would return to enjoy walking in the surrounding countryside. 「Arrived at thevagreed time to find the doors locked. Tried to ring but nobody picked up. Eventually someone heard me knocking and opened the door. Check in was straightforward after that. Room was small but had all you needed. Wifi was good. Desk space was small but ok. Dinner was good. Had a good nights sleep. Breakfast included and looking at the cooked option it looked very nice. Sadly i just had some cereal and juice (my choice). Paid on check out. Parking was free. Overall nice place...

「Fabulouso!! Ruth was a lovely hostess, very warm and welcoming. This period property was very well maintained, cosy and decorated tastefully. Amazing bathroom, comfortable bed, Welsh cakes a very nice touch and a breakfast full of fine ingredients - down to the homemade marmalade which we bought a jar! We will most definitely return!」

「A great quite deceivingly large property with some great old features. The standard of the fixtures and fittings are very high and the brownies on arrival were amazing. Much Wenlock is a li ely setting with pmenty of shops, cafe's and pubs.」

From the friendly welcome received on check-in to the cleanliness of the room allocated, everything was absolutely perfect for the overnight stay. I slept very well & enjoyed the morning coffee in the café downstairs. It was all spot-on and excellent value for money. I will recommend to friends and I would like to book to stay there again. 」
