「Once inside this clean and cozy space, it was like we stepped back to another time - the 30s or 40s. I kept hoping to see Benny Goodman, Bing Crosby or maybe Frank Sinatra walk by and say hello. This is a lovely little cottage with its centerpiece fireplace perfect for two visiting a splendid part of California with great food, shopping, and the sea nearby. 「Great stay. We spent the week in Pasadena for the Rose Bowl parade and football game. Having this pool house to come back to each day made the trip that much better. The host was extremely responsive and friendly. My kids loved the hot tub and my wife loved the fireplace in the house. We had a great time and can’t wait to come back.」

「We loved this place. It worked well for us visiting family in Valley Village and Glendale. The building was just right for a couple. We had a some difficulty connecting to the WiFi when we first arrived, but the host was responsive in providing an alternate connection. The building is in the back of the property down a narrow driveway. There was a nice outdoor area. If we had rented a car there was a charging station available. The washer and dryer were in a separate building. Nice extermal...

「My stay at the Starfish Cottage was exceptional. The managers were both kind and generous with their time. I asked for a few modifications, and they enthusiastically worked with me. When I met Kei, he personalized my stay, which made it very memorable since it was over the Christmas holidays. The lodging was both comfortable and relaxing. I regretted not booking more days!! 」

「We had a lovely stay! The house had vintage charm and was nicely decorated with all the modern conveniences and the biggest TV I've ever seen in a home! Many extras like a Keurig with pods, bottled water and a nice outdoor seating area in back. Close to many restaurants and stores and all Long Beach has to offer. Will try to stay here again next time we're in town.」

「We come back to Santa Monica often since we moved away 12 years ago. This is one of the best places we have stayed. Everything was as described. We love to have some meals in when traveling so the well appointed kitchen was great. Loved the outdoor space for a nap. Walked to most all our fun. Thank you for making your cottage available.」

「If you want to stay in South Pasadena, this property has an excellent location as so much is walkable - the train, the grocery store, lots of restaurants, the library. We appreciated also that there are a lot of spices and some condiments and that food preparation was easy. It is nice to have an office space if one is doing some work. It is a small space.」

「We very much enjoyed our stay with a few minor problems. One of the toilets clogged but was repaired the next day. The back yard and the kitchen had ants, so we had to spray. Most of the pool inflatables had leaks. The house was very roomy, and it was perfect for our 8-member family」

「I was first surprised that the lobby area iwas so small, but that was a tiny matter, and everything was super OK. The size of the room in particular, which is difficult to find that size for our family at other places. The advice we received from the front staff about the restraunts nearby, was in detail and perfect. We really enjoyed the food, such as Amante etc.」

「If you want to enjoy shopping and dining in Beverly Hills, we recommend this hotel as it is reasonably priced and conveniently located. The only downside is that a large carry case is too narrow to spread out your luggage. Check-in is extremely easy and quick, as all you have to do is register your passport in advance through the hotel's app and you can check in right away.」
