For future lurkers who can’t make up his/her mind — book it, you will thank me later.
(1) the cover picture gave the illusion of a side ocean view, no, you are dead ocean front. You are on top of a cliff, with a secluded beach down a few steps. You will be the only person on that beach.
(2) this is one of the best, if not the best neighborhood on Sint Maarten. The best snorkeling place on the island is the Mullet beach (left exit a private gate), and Cupecoy beach (right exit a private gate). You will see people snorkel from one to another, right under your terrace
(3) yes the pool is big enough to swim laps, and never crowded.
(4) grocery (Carrefour) is walking distance, don’t get turned off by its tiny door, it’s big inside, you’ll find everything you need for a regular meal, not that you want to cook, so many good eats nearby
(5) you will be tempted to stay at the beach club and call it a vacation, you can if you have young children, but trust me, you want to go outside, rent a car, there aren’t that many roads, you can’t get lost, and it doesn’t matter where you go, anywhere you point your car, the view is gorgeous.
We loved every minute of it.
