「This is a wonderful resort! We stopped here for 2 nights on our way further down the keys and what a gem! Our little apartment was so comfy with a full kitchen and a huge porch overlooking the garden, which is beautiful by the way. 「Our room was clean. Office was closed when we arrived, but key was left in an envelope with clear instructions where to find our room. Snappers restaurant is right next to hotel. We had a great dinner on their deck next to the water. We arrived late and only stayed one night on the way to Key West so we didn’t use the pool, but the hot tub was great and open all night. Breakfast was fine. My hubby was disappointed with selection but he can be a picky eater. Plenty of options for me. 」

「The resort has many amenities to offer, Marina, restaurant onsite, dock and a cute little beach area, more for sunbathing than to enjoy the sea. The pool opens until 11 pm, which is convenient during the hot summer months. The check in process went smoothly. The property is secure and the views are amazing. 「Such a lovely property, we really enjoyed staying here. The room and the grounds were wonderful. Housekeeping was hit and miss, towels got changed and bins emptied but they forgot to make the bed once and it was a very rudimentary clean. 」

「This resort appears to be brand new. The room we stayed in was recently updated and very clean. The amenities were wonderful - and the free breakfast was stellar! We did not have hot water in our room (lukewarm / intermittently warm) which was a bummer, but overall a great experience. 」

「I was looking for a one night stay in Islamorada that wouldn't break the bank, but still be comfortable and clean. The Chesapeake Resort fit the bill! Rooms have been updated and resort was clean and quiet. It has a nice area for sunning and two pools. There isn't a restaurant or bar on site, but they do offer a very good continental breakfast with made to order eggs and a bar cart with quality liquor, beer, and wine. Also, two restaurants are within walking distance. 」

「My family and I stayed at the Hadley for a family wedding nearby. We found out that they upgraded our room upon arrival which was much appreciated! My sister and I shared the 2 br ocean view suite which featured a wrap around balcony. The hotel offers free breakfast/coffee, paddle boarding and bike rentals and more which we did utilize.
