Beautifully newly remodeled, classic "Craftsman" style home outfitted w/stylish furnishings throughout. Warm hardwood floors & quartz top countertops. Germ Free Sanitization - and 7 day staff. Great location less than a mile from the beach & downtown long beach - where you can access great activities such as the Long Beach Aquarium, Queen Mary, & Convention. Long parking driveway fits 5 vehicles tandem. Peaceful safe , residential neighborhood. Be the first to live in this stylish Airbnb!

The space
Our goal is to provide a safe, germ free, “private environment” for you and your group. We have an elevated standard of cleaning which makes our home clean and safe. All sheets, bedding and towels are fully cleaned and disinfected after each guest.

Our living room has newly remodeled walnut brown hardwood floors, and a seating arrangement includes two leather director chairs and large mid-century sofa. We have lots of drapes for privacy.

You park up to 4 cars in a long tandem driveway. Open the wooden gate first.

We allow max of 10 people - 8 can sleep on the 4 beds, 1 more on the sofa bed in the 4th bedroom, and one possibly on the couch. Most comfortable would be 6 to 8 people here.

Spacious high quality full chef's kitchen w/quartz table tops.

We have a dining table w/6 chairs.

We have ceiling fans in most rooms, and space heaters in the bedrooms for extra heat during the winter, as the living room main heater only covers the living room, we have had to add the space heaters.

In the back of our lot there are also two smaller guest houses w/separate tenants there. They enter from the back alley so should not disturb you.

Great location
Overall, positive experience. I enjoyed that we were within walking distance to many places. Able to accommodate up to four vehicles in the driveway. Previous reviewers left comments about uncomfortable beds, not enough plates/silverware and I would have to say that the owner has been responsive. They replaced the beds and the kitchen is well stocked to accommodate 11+ people. I think the house comfortably fits 8 people. We had 8 adults and 3 kids, ages 2-5 and it was a tight squeeze. We had to pull out their air mattress to sleep all of us. They have a pack n play as well if you have a kid under 2. Overall, happy with our stay. Would recommend.

We stayed at this property for 3 nights before we caught our cruise out of San Pedro. It was the most central location for us for what we wanted to do in those 3 days. When we arrived at the house everything looked as pictured. Having the gated entrance was nice. There is lots of room. There was 5 adults and 1 baby and we had plenty of room. Rooms were spacious, kitchen was beautiful even though we didn’t cook anything, there was a cute little back yard, nice porch area, overall great. The host was very easy to get ahold of. Especially when we needed an extra space heater. My only complaint was the cleanliness. We are from Canada so we don’t wear shoes in our hoses lol so we were kind of astonished to find the state of our feet and our baby’s hands and knees within just a few minutes. They were black. Luckily they had a swifter that I could mop the floors with. But still, a guest shouldn’t have to mop the floors of a house they are renting. The baseboards in the bathroom also needed some attention, they were pretty dirty. The linen and towels though were of no complaint. And the play pen was a great addition.

This Place Needs Some Love
This property suited our needs for the two nights we stayed, but it would not have been a good pick for anything longer than that. As someone mentioned previously in their review, the kitchen is sparse, so don't plan on cooking any meals while you're there. We also had our 3-month-old with us and were told by the property owner that the property does not have a pack 'n' play. We ended up borrowing one from a friend in the area only to find that there was in fact a pack 'n' play in one of the closets. Other than that, the house was cold and drafty. The front door has a large gap at the bottom between the door and the door jamb. The faucet in the kitchen sink was missing the nozzle that regulates how much water comes out, so it gushed out unexpectedly when used. Be warned that the white coffee pot (not pictured) does not have an auto-off feature. The futon bed has a bar that runs right up the middle, which was very uncomfortable. Additionally, it's right up against the wall outlet that powers the internet, so take care not to bump it or the internet will go out. The bunk beds were squeaky and equally uncomfortable.

Overall the updated kitchen and baths as well as the hard flooring was well done. The carpets either need to be replaced asap or deep, DEEP cleaned. It would great to have the curtains close enough to cover all the window, there were gaps on all the windows. The kitchen does not have any window coverings. Now on to the supplies in the kitchen, there were only 4 knives, 4 forks, 4 spoons. There was dinnerware for 8 people. There were pots and pans, a coffee maker with filters, and some coffee. There were no mixing bowls. We were expecting more when it was advertised as "chef kitchen". We were never contacted by the property manager. We were NOT able to get onto the Wi-Fi. The network name/password were incorrect. We contacted the PM on the phone and she confirmed the incorrect Wi-Fi codes. We tried to log on again but nothing worked. We tried to contact her via phone and text but never got through. It was frustrating as we needed to have good Wi-fi to complete our48 Covid tests prior to the boarding our cruise. We did meet a very nice neighbor! The neighborhood is quiet and seemed safe.

This was the perfect property for our family in which to stay. So convenient.
We just loved staying here. Everything was perfect. Quiet neighborhood. Lovely home. Would stay here again. Saved us money on hotel rooms for our family. All could stay together.

beds are broken. It is only 3 bedroom house. AC does not work Bathrooms are horrible and everything is broken in bathroom. There are flies in the house This house is health hazard and should not be used for listing. My back hurts after sleeping here. I want my money back.

Overall a good stay
This was my first time using VRBO to book a stay. I expected the property to be similar to other placed I've stayed using Airbnb. The kitchen has little to no utensils. Hardly any pots and pans to cook with so if you're planning on cooking here, don't. There was a wooden panel that fell off under the kitchen sink and almost hit my foot when I was washing a pot to use to cook. Also, since this property is so close to the beach, there is no air conditioner. If you run hot blooded like I do, I wouldn't recommend staying during the summer. Even with all the windows open, there was little to no air flow. We used this place for a bachelorette stay. It worked for what we needed it to work for (aside from the cooking). But this property is close to the beach and dining.

It’s a great little house with great updates but it does need a little work especially for the price. It’s a great location! And the host was very easy to work with. The house did have a lot of nice features and a great kitchen. But AC needs to be in every room. Each night was hot and muggy in the living room. Curtains could be better. They didn’t cover the windows and didn’t offer great privacy, especially with how many people are on the street. And on the last night I noticed that my daughters bed didn’t have any sheets on it. Just the mattress cover. And some the furniture has some major stains on them. But if these changes are made it would be a perfect house for a beach getaway!

The Walkable Craftsman
The house is an amazing redone craftsman that is warm and inviting. It is located in the middle of beach community with a vibrant culture. If you are not from the area you will fall in love. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless and they provided plenty of bedding and towels and extra pillows. If you are not good at backing out driveways it would be best to back in the drive to pull out if you are driving streets are a little tight. Only frown was the kids room/bunk bed room has no fan due to the bunk bed height we have the same issue at home. A box fan would serve well to move air and keep the room cool. All the restaurants and stores are with in walking distance >1mile. Cherry Beach is a mile or 15 min walk away and if you skateboard or bike then consider this a paradise to wheel around. If you are not looking for local eats and want the chain restaurants and mall shopping, then 3 miles down on ocean blvd the Pikes Outlet offers many stores and eats as well as Aquarium of the pacific. They stay was amazing and the property was more than you can ask for the price and what was provided.

Great house near the beach in long beach!
Had a family gathering and found this place at a great price! Would do it again. Fyi though, the house has a mulit unit in back rented out to residence. Dont be surprised if someone walks past the driveway, they are cool peeps.

Clean up crew failed in bedrooms and showers. Photos misrepresented cleanliness of property.
Bedroom rugs were filthy dirty and also not vacuumed. Back shower had red droplets on the wall and hair in the corners. Wrappers left on side table and floor. Furniture stained. If this place was COVID clean it would have made all the difference to our comfort level. We left a day early. Such potential here.
