The accommodation offers everything you need. Clean, plenty of space and a great terrace with a view of the sea. Once you arrive, check-in is quick and easy. 8 flights of stairs, easy to manage, and you are standing in front of the entrance door. To unload the car, you can drive up to the stairs. Then you park the car in the large parking lot and pay 25 pounds a week.
Whether it's a stove, fridge, toaster, kettle or whatever else you need, everything is there. A large bathroom invites you to shower. Bath towels are provided. A table and benches on the terrace invite you to sit in the sun (we had breakfast on the terrace every morning).
The location of the accommodation is very quiet. There is a beach bar in the immediate vicinity, where you can enjoy a beer or glass of wine. You can also do a number of water sports here.
Looe is a must to.The walk there on the South Coast Path is easy and beautiful. We walked the South Coast Path in both directions from Millendreath. The walk to Polperro (approx. 5 hours there and back with a stop in Talland Bay) and to Seaton/Downderry (approx. 1 hour) were the absolute highlights.
If you come at the right time of year (like us), you should definitely plan a visit to the Royal Cornwall Show. We have now visited the show for the second time and are thrilled.
Looe and Seaton have great pubs and restaurants.
