"We came home from a lovely stay at the Lochness Clansman Hotel on Thursday. We wished we had booked for longer! On arrival we learned the staff had accommodated our request on room preference by email and we were allocated 2 beautiful rooms overlooking the loch. The view was stunning from both rooms. "I cannot recommend the Highland Bear Lodge highly enough. What a stunning location and place to stay. Everything was absolutely lovely and very unique. "Wasn't expecting ensuite to be across the hall from our room, although the Guesthouse reminded me of my childhood family weekends away. A quiet peaceful place and hardly heard others coming and going. We ate at a local bar/ restaurant - expensive meal (exchange rates AUD the main reason) but delicious."

"Somewhat disappointing. No one was there to check us in of inquire about our needs. Kind of eerie to stay at a hotel and not see anybody else (employees or guests) during our stay. Plus there was no Highland Cattle plush in our room as their web-site pictures suggest. Otherwise, a comfortable room that was clean and well-maintained."

"Owner arranged early entry and communicated well over WhatsApp. Room was very comfortable and little touches like the muffin and milk in the fridge for an afternoon cuppa go a long way. Everything was well planned out for breakfast the following Morning and wow what a choice ! House is situated amongst trees and I would highly recommend! Would not hesitate to stay again if I was in the area!"

"We had appartment 11 in the Monastery (North). A really lovely appartment and perfect for a few nights away in the Highlands. The room had literally everything you could possibly need! The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. I know its luck of the draw.... but the weather was absolutely perfect for our stay and it just made it all the better!
