Perfect apartment for our family of 4!

The apartment is on the 3rd (top) floor of the lovely yellow building. It's an older building with permanent residents in it and shows some wear... but we couldn't care less.Elevator worked perfectly, buttons to buzz into the building worked fine. There are parking spaces under the building with a trash room. The lovley host Joao met us at the apartment to welcome us and show us around. He also had a book with directions for using the stove and washing machine. There was a Keurig like machine with coffee pods, little sugar and creamer packets which lasted us the week. The apartment had supplies to use: TP, some spices, napkins, paper towels, shampoo and hand soap.Each bedroom has 2 twin beds with could be separated or pushed together. Lots of space in the rooms, windows to open and GORGEOUS views of the castle.The apartment had AC and heat which worked well. Everything was clean and fresh. Once again, it is an older building so the finishes are older and there are a few dings here and there. DOESN'T MATTER AT ALL! We loved the homey feel and cozy space to hang out and play card games, read books and look out the windows over the city. A lovely overlook of the city is just up the street and there is a cut through alleyway down to the main road. The 28 route trolley stop was just a 3 minute walk down to the main road so it was easy to catch. There were great restaurants and stores on the main road .We would definitely stay here again!!!

Two senior Canadian couples & our first visit to Portugal!Apartment was perfect with good indoor parking! Two minute walk to #28 tram stop!Three minute walk to really good grocery store, with beer, wine and spirits for sale! Views of Sao Jorge castle!Five minutes walk for the best Portuguese pastries ever! Excellent communication with very helpful host! Thank you Joao! Marty, Janet, Rex & Lynda

Pre Christmas holiday in Lisbon

Our family of 5 enjoyed this wonderful gem for 5 nights. The location is perfect quiet , and within walking distance to the tram, grocery store, bars, laundromat, ( if you need it, Pat. Does have a washer) bakeries and restaurants. And down town. It’s far enough yet close enough to the must see sights. Beautiful view. Well stocked and great water pressure. Weather was cool while we were there but we had no issues with heater- perfect. Check in /out was quick and easy. Joao set up a transfer for us to and from ap. We did not rent a car except for a one day trip. Public trans was perfect. As were u era and taxis. You can get good deals on day passes for the bus/ team system. Be prepared to walk up hill a good bit if you choose walking. So pick good walking shoes! It wasn’t an issue for us. Beautiful town with plenty to see and get you in the Christmas spirit. We will definitely book again if in Lisbon. Highly recommend!!! Thanks Joao we hope to be back soon!

Great location

Only a couple of blocks to one of the best views in the city. View from the apt was also very nice. Everything we needed could be found close by and it was 15min walk to many of the sites on our list. Found great local eats nearby too. Great stay

Great place, we loved it!

Location is great in a nice local neighborhood. Wine bars, restaurants, and the supermarket are so close and walkable. Communication with the property manager was easy and they helped us with some booking problems we had on our side. Great and totally recommended.

Perfect Lisbon stay

The Graca neighborhood is the place to stay for a great Lisbon visit that’s not overrun by tourists. This apartment is everything it’s advertised to be. Joao is so accommodating. He gave us a thorough introduction to the neighborhood and allowed us to have a late checkout to accommodate our flight schedule. Everything you need is close by—supermarkets, local bakeries and the famous tram.

Fun in Lisbon

Everything you need in a great location

Great place to stay. Everything you need ( the only place I’ve stayed where they really thought about and provided what you need, including proper umbrellas in case of rain), excellent modern clean rooms, great views, comfy beds and great water pressure. Really great neighbourhood- bars, bakeries, supermarkets, fruit shops, great views and the 28 tram if you don’t feel like walking down the hill. Joao was a great host and would recommend.

Not far from public transport and walking distance, though hilly, to many attractions, this location was ideal. It was nice to be in a neighborhood where the locals shop, eat and drink. Great views too.

Perfect location

Location was perfect for our family, at the top of historic Lisbon, great views, easy access walking access to sights. Good grocery store and restaurants around the corner. Quiet neighborhood. We appreciated the A/C as it was unusually warm for April. Joao was a delight to engage with on the rental.

Wonderful apartment in great location

Communication with host Joao was excellent from the time of booking. Great, clean, spacious and well appointed apartment in a secure building. It has large and bright rooms with wonderful views. It is located in a quiet area but with close by restaurants and shops. We arranged for airport pickup through our host. Buses and tram are one street away for easy access to visit the city. Several viewing points nearby overlooking the whole city. Strongly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Lisbon and would stay there again without a doubt. You won’t be disappointed booking Joao’s place.

Outstanding

The listing is extremely accurate. The apartment is comfortable and bright and has anything you might need. We absolutely loved the neighborhood. It’s a five minute walk to beautiful views overlooking the entire city of Lisbon. There are restaurants, and wine bars, and grocery stores within a two minute walk. Public transportation is extremely convenient. We actually enjoyed walking the hills down to Bairro Alto.

Beautiful apartment in Lisbon.

Our family of 4 adults and 1 teen loved Joao’s beautiful apartment in Graca. The location couldn’t have been better— so many restaurants and shops just around the corner and lovely views of St. Jorge’s Castle from every bedroom. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well provisioned. We used Ubers (which are inexpensive and quickly available) to get around Lisbon and to Sintra; but public transportation and tuk tuks are nearby as well. I highly recommend this wonderful apartment for your stay in Lisbon.

What a great place and location

The photos didn't really do the flat justice - it's even bigger than the photos might suggest. All is as advertised and Joao was very kind and helpful in greeting us and helping us to get sorted. The property is very close to a tram stop and there are all needed conveniences, e.g., restaurants, food shopping and a variety of other shops avail very near by. What a great city!

Tout était parfait !

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. L’appartement était très agréable, bien éclairé et bien équipé, Pourvu de savon pour la lessive et de papier hygiénique etc pour la durée du séjour ! Jao nous a accueilli lui-même et a répondu avec gentillesse à nos demandes. Le quartier est très agréable, à la fois animé et pas trop touristique.
