"A beautifully designed rustic lodge with vaulted rooflines and ceilings. The house is located inside the park and offers great views. The layout is quite open, though unfortunately, the master bath is located behind the kitchen, away from the bedrooms. The cabinets and fixtures throughout the house could use an update, but the kitchen appliances are fairly new. Many of the lights in the kitchen and living room were out, making the ambiance of the house quite dim."

"Loved the property, enjoyed the time we stayed there. Love the old and rustic vibe of the place. Suggestion, love the place, but a little more maintenance and cleanliness would be a charm to the place. Overall great place. There was no wifi during our trip which was a bummer since there is literally no network. So if wifi also doesn’t work you are literally in the middle of the woods with no connection to outside world. "

"Your facility had good size spaces for two couples. Having 2 bathrooms was a great convience. Location was great with mountains in the background and horse pastures with mares and colts. Adding exhaust fans in both bathrooms would be a big improvement. Towels left all night would not be dry in the morning!"

The cabin is accessible from town via a 15-20 minute drive along a gorgeous, quiet mountain road and feels very remote (no cell service for us!), but it is equipped with everything you would need. We had a lovely time enjoying the gorgeous river that is accessible from the property and didn't see another soul. "The sound of the river running along the back of the property provided white noise and was so calming. The house came with what we needed to cook and make coffee, so it was what we were looking for during our visit. The communication was great. "

"I had to get out the city and wanted to explore Sequoia National Park without having to stay in some touristy hotel. This house was better than perfect. It was the right amount of secluded while also be close to restaurants and shops — and right next to Sequoia. Spending the day at the park, surrounded by tourists made coming back to this property to relax on the riverbank in seclusion and peace almost made the house itself the primary attraction of this trip. 11/10, would book again. "The place was very nice in comparison to other motel 6s I had ever been to. The room was super clean, there was a fridge , a microwave and t.v. the check-in was fast but they do require cash deposit instead of credit card. It was quiet, beds were large. It was tricky to get to the address since there are so many one way streets. It was also a quick gateway to Sequoia National Park, which was our reason for visiting the area. "
