David's home was just as pictured in the listing. It was in a very quiet, wooded, and removed location but not hard to find. The house was clean and well equipped with towels, toiletries, dishes, game tables in the basement, and the firepit outside. We took advantage of the fire pit after a day of hiking. The closeness to World's End and Rickett's Glen parks was fantastic. We were able to get to both quickly and easily and they are both worth the trip. If you are looking for a place to unwind and disconnect, this will serve you well. There is no wifi and cellular was even difficult to access (could not stream podcasts) but it did not bother us. There is satellite television but only a handful of stations, mostly old re-runs. Again, this did not bother us. When not out exploring the parks we were relaxing with a good book or playing games. If you are one who likes to dine out be advised that there are only a couple of restaurants within a short drive, We enjoyed meals at The Barn and D & D brewery. In LaPorte, we relaxed with coffee and croissants at LaPorte Cafe and Trading Post. Nicky's Nest was the perfect place for us as we just wanted to enjoy the great outdoors and unwind. I would recommend this clean and well-equipped home to anyone who loves nature.
