「If you want to unplug, relax without a big agenda, this is your place. I encourage you to get up at dawn one morning with a cup of coffee, stand on the deck and breathe nothing in but the sound of nature. 「If you need a place that is quiet and away from the daily rat race, this is it. The cabin is tucked away in the woods and the only visitors are the birds and the squirrels. The cabin is well equipped and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.」

「Lots of wildlife and several beautiful state parks within a 30 minute drive. We loved the view of the Mississippi River and convenience to Prairie du Chien. The home itself was very clean and well cared for. From a kitchen, bathroom and grilling perspective, it was outfitted with everything we needed and offered more than your typical hotel! Recommend bringing bug spray if doing a lot of hiking outside as we did.」

「My husband and I were looking for a relaxing weekend getaway with a view… we got that and then some! Complete privacy around the property. The view of the Mississippi is INCREDIBLE. We enjoyed sipping our coffee and watching the ferries and barges go by each morning. The house is so cute, well maintained, and very clean! Highly recommend!」

「What a wonderful place to spend with the kids!!! We enjoyed fishing, exploring, bon fires, and then more fishing. The trout stream is a great place to take the kids because they can easily catch fish after fish. When we weren’t fishing we drove into Decorah to see the local sights. The camper was like home away from home. Very cozy, very clean, well stocked, and the owner left good instructions so we knew how to work everything. We enjoyed it so much our friends booked a stay for their family!!」
