"Good location near Station can walk undercover to it. We are 70 but got allocated a room at the furthest end of a very long corridor far away from the only lift maybe as weren't members of Toyoko Hotel chain (maybe more thought from staff re that but could just be the auto computer allocation?) Breakfast was included but when we went down it was so packed with people there were not enough seats too small a dining room so skipped it & bought sandwiches at 7-11. "Room was small but functional for one person and one can easily open a large suitcase on the floor which is not possible for most of the business hotels in Japan. Despite being on the first floor (floor 2) there was no sound from outside (a car park), no sound from any neighbours. The onsen was a major highlight open throughout afternoon, night and early morning so one can avoid the crowds. I will definitely stay here again if I return to Akita."

"Excellent location. This is a small hotel surrounded by restaurants, cafés, etc. As it was a tatami room, I was expecting the possibility of musky odor, but thankfully there was none! 😊 Room was just right for 3 people max. The futon was soft & comfy & warm despite the crazy Akita winter (personally it was too warm, I was sweating. 😂) The only con is, because we left the window slightly ajar for air flow, we could hear the very loud & obnoxious laugh from another guest's room (I think?)...
