"The rooms are clean, but they are a little small. Make sure your luggage is all set and put away before settling in. Otherwise you will always be competing for space. That being said, a lot of Japanese hotels are similar to this, so be aware. There is a JR train station very close by and a 7-11 across the street. VERY convenient. With that in mind, trains run to 12am-ish at night, and start up again around 4-5am. So if you are sleeping with your window open, it can get pretty noisy. Also ...

"Located 1 minute from the Jujo station. I stayed 12 nights for a solo trip. The owner and staff were so kind and I enjoyed conversationwith them. There was only one staff person who made me uncomfortable so I avoided him and it was fine. Be aware that there is only one shower and it can get crowded during busy seasons. The shower requires 100 yen."
